With growing technology, children are most exposed, abused and exploited, the magnitude of the abuse remain alarming.

With growing technology, children are most exposed, abused and exploited, the magnitude of the abuse remain alarming. Children rights are at risk of compromise through crimes including sexual exploitation and abuse facilitated by digital technologies.

The mass use of internet has amplified the production and circulation of illegal child sexual abuse materials and increased the incidences of online grooming for sexual abuse, sextortion and sexting and the conduct for other forms of exploitation, including the live streaming of child sexual abuse.

CRALAF will employ the following methodologies:

  • Lobbying and Advocacy Media, Civic Education and Sanitization
  • Media Trainings and Capacity building
  • Research and Documentation: CRALAF will undertake research and collect data on issues of online child abuse. The data collected will be useful in programming and decision making. The findings of the research will be disseminated to key stakeholders including Government and other stakeholders to inform decision making.
